Another Disney Springs is permanently closing its doors. Man, this is not the news I wanted to deliver today.

Disney Springs Stores

Unfortunately, this pandemic has not been kind to businesses. Several in Disney Springs have closed since this all began last spring.

The Pearl Factory was a kiosk where you could pick a pearl to turn into creative jewelry. Pearl Factory closed at the beginning of June 2020. You can read that story HERE.

The Void was located in Disney Springs and serves as a cutting edge 3-D Disney themed virtual reality experience. Unfortunately, it closed its doors at the end of August.

Lucky Brand was not so lucky, either. Back in October, I called to confirm the rumors that they were indeed permanently closing. For more details, click HERE.

One restaurant that is closed but may reopen at a later time is Wolfgang Puck Express. The location is marked as temporarily unavailable although some reports have stated it is a permanent closure.

Latest Closure

The latest Disney Springs store to close is Kiehl’s. According to the Disney Springs website, “Founded over 165 years ago, Kiehl’s is a purveyor of high-quality skin-care and hair-care products. Here, you’ll discover uniquely efficacious formulations made from naturally derived ingredients.”

It is located in Town Center near the Under Armour Warehouse and Sephora.

I called this morning to inquire about the closure. An employee did confirm that the store would be closing at the end of the business day tomorrow, January 16. When I asked about the reasoning, she said it was pandemic-related. I really hate hearing of these businesses that were not able to pull through 2020.

There are 73 other Kiehl’s locations in 24 states. Hopefully you are able to find one near you that you can visit for all your beauty and skin care needs.

What do you think of Kiehl’s and the other Disney Springs closure? Did you shop at Kiehl’s? Let us know on Facebook.

Do you think Disney cares is anyone doesn't like masks? They don't need to care because there are FAR more that will do whatever is needed to get in. One sworn off, 1000 ready to enter.

I won't be back to Disney if I have to wear a mask, ever! I don't shop anywhere with a mask.

I think lowering the rent is an avenue which should be pursued.. what's better in the long run, no rent or lower rent!

I'm betting that the rents are very high. How about lowering them? You get zero rent out of an empty store
