Magic Kingdom will test fireworks very soon!

Magic Kingdom is set to test fireworks very soon! Get the full details on when this will take place below. Are you hopeful fireworks will return soon?

Firework Testing

Firework and nighttime entertainment are some of the biggest pieces to be missing out of the Disney Parks puzzle. I know so many of us absolutely miss finding a spot along Main Street, U.S.A. with our Mickey bars just waiting for the Happily Ever After show to begin. I enjoyed the Happily Ever After dessert party just a few weeks before the parks shut down, and I am so thankful for those memories.

Now, we must find other ways to occupy our evenings as the parks close early. However, if you will be visiting Disney World this week, you still have the opportunity to catch a show!

Walt Disney World Cast and Community shared an update on Facebook:

We will be conducting some routine fireworks testing around different areas of Magic Kingdom Park this Wednesday night, Dec. 16, from 10:30 to 11:30 pm. We will do our best to keep noise at a minimum and apologize to our neighbors and Guests for this late-night inconvenience.

As a reminder, fireworks performances and other nighttime spectaculars in our parks remain temporarily unavailable until further notice.

Inconvenience?! No way! I would love to be there to catch a glimpse of these fireworks! If you will be in the area this week, try to watch from Disney’s Contemporary Resort, The Grand Floridian, or Disney’s Polynesian Resort!

Other Firework Testing

This is not the first firework testing since the parks reopened in July!

They previously tested at Magic Kingdom back in November. They are even doing little fireworks displays every time the projections change at Cinderella Castle. What a special treat for Guests visiting Magic Kingdom this holiday season!

Reports have also mentioned that the Electrical Water Pageant on the Seven Seas Lagoon is testing as well. Check that out HERE.

Over at EPCOT, they have been busy as well testing fireworks. Harmonious testing took place back in September, and the floating platforms for the show have been moved into position on the World Showcase Lagoon.

Are you excited about all this recent testing? Are you hopeful more nighttime entertainment will return soon? Let us know on Facebook.
