NEWS: EPCOT will Test Fireworks!

EPCOT will test fireworks soon! Do you think they are preparing for the new fireworks show: HarmonioUS?

HarmonioUS Show

HarmonioUS will celebrate how the music of Disney inspires people the world over, carrying you away harmoniously on a stream of familiar Disney tunes reinterpreted by a diverse group of artists from around the globe.

It will feature massive floating set pieces, custom-built LED panels, choreographed moving fountains, lights, pyrotechnics, lasers and more.

HarmonioUS boasts one of the largest nighttime spectacular shows ever created for a Disney Park!

It was set to debut this past Spring but was pushed back with the closing of the parks and announcement that fireworks entertainment would not proceed upon reopening.

Continued Work on HarmonioUS

The continued work on HarmonioUS indicates that Disney may be working toward starting fireworks shows back up again in the coming months.

Fireworks Testing

EPCOT will test fireworks this coming Wednesday, September 23. It will occur AFTER park closing but conclude BEFORE midnight.

The fireworks will be launched inside the park on the World Showcase Lagoon.

Guests staying at nearby resorts (Disney’s Boardwalk Resort, Disney’s Beach and Yacht Clubs, and others) may hear loud noises during the test. Hopefully they will also get to see a decent show!

I was just at Disney’s Beach Club last week, and I would have loved to hear some fireworks testing! That is definitely what I miss the most about the park experience.

So far, we have no information about when fireworks will return. We are hopeful that HarmonioUS will debut when nighttime entertainment resumes.
