Disney World Guests with Upcoming Vacations Asked to Confirm or Cancel

For a stress-free Disney or Universal Studios vacation, let the FREE expert planners at Royal Carriage Vacations take care of every detail including dining reservations, applying discounts, and onboard cruise credit.

Disney is emailing Guests with vacations asking them to confirm or cancel their reservations. Have you received this email?

Confirm, Modify, or Cancel

In a new email sent out to Guests, Disney World is asking those with reservations through December 31, 2020 to respond with how they wish to proceed with their travel plans.

Disney is also requesting that those responses be made at least 30 days prior to arrival. Guests are only receiving the email if their reservation is for November 6 to December 31.

Additionally, that reservation would have been made before June 5 and not been modified since making the reservation.

Disney is still planning to keep the magic alive during the holiday season. Although the Christmas party and Candlelight Processional won’t be taking place, we still have characters, decorations, and seasonal dining to look forward to. More details can be found HERE.

Here is the email in full:

Merry Moments Await

Once Upon a Christmastime at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2016

Though some of our experiences have changed, the magic will never fade. That’s especially true during the most magical season of all…the holiday season. And we can’t wait for you to come experience it during your upcoming Disney Resort hotel stay.

Through December 30, you’ll have the chance to enjoy festive Character sightings, cheerful castle projections, themed merchandise and even special appearances by Santa Claus himself.

We ask that you kindly review all of the following operational updates and contact your Travel Professional to confirm, modify or cancel your upcoming visit.

Theme Parks & Experiences

If you haven’t heard, we’re thrilled to let you know that all four Walt Disney World Theme Parks are now open. And even though your experience will be understandably different, there’s still so much to look forward to. Many favorite attractions are ready and waiting for you—plus, you’ll discover holiday-themed Character Cavalcades, seasonal décor and tasty treats.

Disney Springs® is currently in a phased reopening with many retail and dining locations ready to welcome you.

Make your Park Reservations

Flight of Passage Queue

There’s one very important thing you need to do: make your Theme Park reservations through the new Disney Park Pass system.  Because in order to enter a Theme Park, all Guests ages 3 and older must have a Park reservation in addition to a valid ticket or annual pass for admission to the same Park on the same date. Park reservations are limited in capacity, subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

Resorts

Since Walt Disney World Resort is in a phased reopening, some Disney Resort hotels will remain closed during your stay. If you have a reservation at a Disney Resort hotel that won’t be open during your travel dates, your Travel Professional can help modify your Disney Resort hotel to a comparable accommodation at no additional charge.

Health and Well-Being Measures

While visiting Walt Disney World Resort, all Guests ages 2 and older—along with all Cast Members—will be required to wear face coverings.

We know a stay here during this time will be different. But the world needs magic now more than ever. And we can’t wait to have you here with us.
