It’s a busy weekend for Orlando-area theme parks! Universal Studios, Volcano Bay, and Islands of Adventure have all reached capacity.
Labor Day Weekend
TripIt recently analyzed the top 100 Labor Day destinations and published their findings. Last year, Orlando ranked at #14 while Denver topped the list.
This year, Orlando ranks at #3. Wow! Take a look at the list below:
Labor Day Weekend is one of the busier times of the year to travel to Walt Disney World. With an extra day off and the end of summer, families and travelers flock to visit Mickey for a long weekend.
If you take a look at Kenny’s crowd calendar for September, you will see a lot of orange and red. However, you can still tour the four theme parks successfully! Just follow the pre-made touring plans Kenny has laid out on Character Locator.
Park Passes are currently unavailable for all Guests for this weekend. You can read more about that HERE.
Universal Studios
Walt Disney World is not the only busy theme park this weekend! Guests are flocking to Universal Studios, Volcano Bay, and Islands of Adventure for adventure during this holiday weekend.
Universal Studios is also operating at a reduced capacity. Social distancing, masks, and spreading out guests on attractions are all in place. You can read more about the health and safety measures at Universal Studios HERE.
The reduced capacity, combined with the increase in crowds, means the three parks have all reached capacity.
Universal Studios, Volcano Bay, and Islands of Adventure are not inviting additional guests into the parks.
