When I think about my happy places to visit, of course I think of the parks, but I cannot imagine how much more of a happier place it is for our Cast Members. Therefore, it is wonderful that this month they are receiving a wonderful discount on merchandise.
Have you seen the creative videos that Cast Members have been creating on their own of heading back “Home?” Here is one that that brought me to the point of tears and had to open up a new box of tissues.

Just this morning Disney also shared a new video of Walt Disney World Cast Members returning to work with a focus on healthy and safety.
Once again, I could not get over watching the excitement of our wonderful Cast Members that truly make our special place so magical.
Discount Offered to WDW Cast Members
It made me very happy to learn today that Walt Disney is offering Cast Members a 50% discount on merchandise from July 5-31, 2020.
The discount can be applied to Disney owned and operated locations and is valid for working and furloughed Cast Members.
Exclusions to the Discount
Some exclusions apply:
- Disney cloth face masks (check out our review of shopDisney cloth masks)
- Select Merchandise items from Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge (discount does apply for most items at Droid Depot, including custom droid)
- National brand items like fragrances and watches
- Select EPCOT merchandise locations (detailed list is provided on the Hub)
The discount also applies at open resorts, excluding Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.
