We continue to see more cruise cancellations from Disney Cruise Line. Read on to see if your cruise is one of the sailings affected.
Bob Chapek recently spoke about how the Disney Cruise Line would likely be the last experience to reopen. It is starting to seem that way with all the cancellations being extended by months.
Last week, it was reported that Disney Cruise Line canceled all Alaskan sailings for 2020. Guests can re-book an Alaskan cruise for 2021. Cruises on Alaskan sailings are on board the Disney Wonder, which is known to be a “classic ship” as it is smaller than a couple of the newer ships.
Today, Disney Cruise Line has officially announced further cancellations, this time for the Disney Magic, which is also a “classic ship.”
Guests who sail on the Disney Magic sometimes sail on one of Disney Cruise Line’s specialty cruises, Marvel Day at Sea that sails out of Miami, Florida.
All Disney Magic sailings through October 2, 2020 have been cancelled.
Guests booked on the affected sailings will be offered the choice of a 125% cruise credit to be used for a future sailing that sails prior to March 31, 2022 or a full refund. The credit will be automatically added to guests accounts.

8/20 – 10-Night Northern Europe: 8/17 Copenhagen Escape
8/30 – 7-Night Norwegian Fjords: 8/28 London Escape

9/13 – 5-Night Western Europe: 9/11 London Escape
Guests who had plans to sale on Adventures by Disney Cruise packages or an Escape Package on six of the sailings will have the packages automatically refunded back to their original form of payment.
