How to View “Celebrating 25 Magical Years of Disney on Broadway

A free live-stream of “Celebrating 25 Magical Years of Disney on Broadway” is available at Playbill and BroadwayCares.org at 7:00pm (Eastern Time) on April 17, 2020.

This event was originally scheduled for April 13, 2020, but due to issues with the American Federation of Musicians union, this was delayed.

This has since been resolved with musicians and members of the orchestra contractor waiving additional fees in order for this event to be a live stream charity event.

"Disney on Broadway" Concert to be Live-Streamed

The Event

This concert was actually recorded in November 4, 2019 to celebrate 25 Magical Years of Disney on Broadway. We are so excited to now have the opportunity to view this, and the bonus is that this event will help raise money for the Broadway Cares Fights AIDS’ COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund.

The money raised will help all of those in the theatre and performing arts community that have been affected by COVID-19.

Disney Broadway Stars Perform "Go the Distance" Virtually

With the Broadway stages remaining dark during this pandemic, many of those in the theatre have experienced health and financial challenges.

Broadway producers have offered a challenge. They will match every donation dollar for dollar up to $1 million dollars. Donations may be given at Broadway Cares.

Host and Cast

Ryan McCartan will host this event directly from his home while interviewing Disney Broadway stars from their homes as well.

Earlier this week, we shared Ryan McCartan singing with fellow Broadway stars on Zoom.
