Lots of changes to the October 2015 park hours and entertainment schedules.
Disney World has made extensive changes to the October 2015 park hours and added a great deal of entertainment changes like extra Fantasmic! and Main Street Electrical Parades added. Animal Kingdom is even offering odd closing times at 30 minutes after the hour.

Has Animal Kingdom stayed open until 8 in the past? Do you think they will have any new night entertainment on the late closing nights? Thanks!
Yes and no
Kenny, it looks like Animal Kingdom is opening at 8:00am on 10/17 and several other Saturdays in October.
