One thing that Disney excels at is providing great merchandise for guests. Sometimes the amount of souvenirs grows a bit too large for your suitcase, and you may need help getting your purchases home safely.

Previously, Guests could ship directly from select Walt Disney World shops. There is a shipping fee for this service, and guests can choose from ground delivery through UPS or air delivery.

Shipping is also available at the Business Center of select resorts. You can see a full listing of where these are located HERE.third shipping option is available at the Marketplace Co-Op located at Disney Springs.

Disney World Shipping Changes

The biggest complaint for many Disney Guests was that they had to provide receipts for all items to be shipped. This also did not include some items, like popcorn buckets. Secondly, Guests disliked that the shipping price was calculated based on the merchandise total.

Starting September 1, 2026, Walt Disney World made a HUGE change with a new shipping provider, Ricoh Merchandise Shipping.

Guests may select a shipping bag that is the correct size to hold all items they want to ship. They are then able to use a QR code to complete shipping details (no more handwritten shipping slips) and secure their bag with a zip tie before giving it to a Cast Member.

This is great news for Guests who need to ship items home from their Walt Disney World vacation.

  • Extra Small $19.97
  • Small $29.97 (popcorn bucket size)

Recently, I (Donna) noticed a Guest leaving 3 lightsaber blades at their Walt Disney World Resort, stating that they could not pack them in their suitcases to travel home. This new shipping change will be invaluable to Guests facing similar situations.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Donna loved Disney from an early age. As a child, her family would joke that she lived in "Donna Land." As an adult, she enjoys planning and creating magical vacations for her family. She always brings a little faith, trust, and a little bit of Pixie Dust!

  1. So we just shipped a castle playset back home. Shipping was $34. I would think since this castle is fairly large, it would fall under the medium category at least...probably the large. And it would cost considerly more with this new program. Doesn't sound like the win the author of this article believes it is for WDW guests!

    1. That is a good point for one large item. The benefit may be for several smaller items and for items that were previously unable to ship, such as popcorn buckets and items from World Showcase locations.
