Disney released more details about the upcoming closure of Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Will this affect your next Walt Disney World trip?

Tiana's Bayou Adventure opened June 28, 2024, at Walt Disney World and on November 15, 2024, at Disneyland. It continues Tiana's story from the movie, showcasing her successful restaurant and life. And Tiana needs your help in keeping it a success.

Tiana has asked us to join her at Tiana's Foods to help get the missing ingredient for the Mardi Gras party. She's showing her appreciation for our help by inviting us to the party.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure draws a BIG crowd throughout the day and is truly dazzling at night.

Refurbishments can occur on things such as attractions, hotels, restaurants, walkways, pools, and buildings. Disney does their best to notify Guests ahead of time of these refurbishments, especially if they could impact the Guest experience.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure will temporarily close for a routine refurbishment beginning November 2, 2026, and is expected to reopen in December 2026.

November and December are both very busy months for Walt Disney World, with holiday festivities offered across the entire Walt Disney World Resort and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom and Jollywood Nights at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Disney now shares that when Tiana's Bayou Adventure closes on November 2, 2026, Tiana's General Store and Critter Co-Op will close as well. This is the first refurbishment planned for this attraction since its opening in 2024.
