Disney Parks Named Most Expensive in the U.S.
Disney executives claim that the Disney Parks are a great value, but new reports show that they are among the most expensive. Check out the full results.
Is Disney Too Expensive?

Over the past year, the Walt Disney Company has been under attack by many who feel that the Disney parks are too expensive for the average family. Walt Disney first envisioned Disneyland as a place where parents and children could enjoy attractions in a magical land together.
These conversations first began when a Wall Street Journal post, "Some inside Disney worry that the company has become addicted to price hikes and has reached the limits of what middle-class Americans can afford."
The Walt Disney Company responded, stating that they felt the lifelong memories that guests create as well worth the current price. This led many to believe that the Walt Disney Company was truly out of touch with its target audience.
Disney Defends High Pricing

Josh D'Amaro, Walt Disney Company CEO, shares that the goal of Disney Parks is still to deliver great value. You can check out his recommendations for "budget-conscious Guests" to still enjoy a Disney Park vacation HERE.
A recent report from the HometoGo Theme Park Index lists the 39 most affordable Theme Parks in the United States based on the cost of daily admission, parking, and nearby accommodations.
Dollywood comes in at #26, and Legoland Florida comes in at #29. While Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida both tied at #32. While Universal Studios California is listed as #36.
Disney Park High Prices

Disney Parks are all at the highest end of this Theme Park Index. EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios tie for #34; Disney's Animal Kingdom is at #37, and Magic Kingdom is #38.
Disney Parks are among the highest-priced parks in the United States.
Both Disneyland Park in California and Disney California Adventure Park tie for the highest-priced park at #39.
Do you think this should be a sign for the Walt Disney Company to reconsider pricing, or do you think Disney Parks are worth the higher price? Share your thoughts with us or share this news with your Disney pals.
