Disney World Removes Signs of This Single-Rider Line
This once popular loophole may now be closing. Find out how this change will affect your next Park day.
Single Rider Line

Single rider lines are separate lines in select attractions for those traveling solo or those who don't mind riding the attraction without the rest of their party. Basically, single riders get placed wherever there is a seat available.
Typically, the line is much shorter than the regular standby queue, which means less time waiting in line!
Attractions at Disney World that use Single Rider access include Expedition Everest, Test Track, Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets, and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run. Occasionally, Soarin' and Rise of the Resistance offer a Single Rider Line as well.
Changes Made To Expedition Everest Queue

Earlier, we shared that Guests visiting Animal Kingdom reported that there has been a change at Expedition Everest. Guests in the standby queue are being pre-sorted in the final holding room.
Cast Members are instructed for even-numbered parties to go left and odd-numbered parties to go right in the final holding room.
This helps to fill the trains faster and more efficiently, which allows more Guests to enjoy the attraction. Unfortunately, this also meant that fewer Guests in the single-rider queue were needed.
Single Rider Sign Removed

Yesterday, Guests noticed that the sign directing Guests to the single-rider queue line for Expedition Everest was missing. While the sign was removed, the Walt Disney World website still shows that Expedition Everest offers a single-rider option.
The single-rider sign is now removed for Expedition Everest.
Guests may still join this queue, although it is not marked. Thanks to @RockNstardust for sharing:
It is unclear if this may be an ominous sign that the end is near for the single-rider line at Expedition Everest or if this is simply an unannounced refurbishment. For now at least, single-rider Guests can still enjoy this attraction, but you will not see clear signage. The entrance is near the Lightning Lane entrance, near the corner of the gift shop.
