Disney Puts an End to One of its BEST Breakfast Options

Disney has implemented a disappointing change, and it might just impact your breakfast plans.

There is no shortage of breakfast options at Walt Disney World. Guests can enjoy quick-service meals, leisurely table service dining, delightful character meals, and even grab-and-go options.

In fact, for many Guests, enjoying a favorite breakfast is a tradition they look forward to. Whether it is grabbing a plate of Mickey Waffles before a day of adventure or saying hey to Stitch at 'Ohana, a Disney breakfast can hold cherished memories.

But now, Disney has implemented a breakfast change that will doubtless disappoint many guests. It impacts what is (or at least, what used to be) one of the best values when it comes to table service breakfast.

Ale & Compass

Ale & Compass is a delightful dining option at Disney's Yacht Club Resort. It offers table service dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Until recently, breakfast was arguably one of the best values in Walt Disney World when it comes to table service dining. This is because the restaurant offered entrees paired with a continental breakfast buffet for adults and kids alike.

Guests could visit the continental breakfast buffet, filled with fruit, pastries, eggs, overnight oats, yogurt, coffee cake, and other great options, as often as they liked. At least, they could until recently. Disney has now put an end to the continental breakfast option at Ale & Compass. It has vanished from the menu. Instead, the menu is now a typical breakfast menu.

Menu Item Updates

Not only has the continental breakfast option vanished, but there are also new menu items avaliable. Guests can now order new entrees like Stuffed French Toast and Crab Cake Benedict at breakfast. And, don't worry, the Dark Chocolate Waffles are safe for now, as are the Hot Honey Chicken and Waffles.

New items have appreared on the menu.

While we are sure these new items will be delicious, it is still disappointing to no longer have the buffet option. It went a long way to make Ale & Compass a standout experience.
