Summer has been off to a hot start in Walt Disney World. June has already been riddled with heat advisories.
Temperatures have soared to the upper 90s. And the heat index has risen as high as 111 degrees!

Keep Cool with a Free Offer
You may know that all hotels that are part of the Disney Resort Collection have swimming pools and free recreational activities. Some of these include free games at the pool area that are great for having fun and staying cool during a midday break.
But, did you know that Disney's All-Star Resorts offer another GREAT freebie to help you enjoy a midday break? Right now, guests can enjoy a full hour of unlimited free games in the arcades every day!
This offering often pops up on the monthly resort activities calendar. And it is in full effect for June at the All-Star Resorts.
Details
Each day from 4:00 PM-5:00 PM, a Cast Member from the recreation team will meet resort Guests in the arcade. The Cast Member will unlock the games in the arcade for a full hour of gaming!
All Star Resorts are offering an hour of Free Arcase play this month
This is a great way to keep dreamers of all ages entertained and out of the heat. Don't forget the food courts at the All-Star Resorts also offer free cups of water to enjoy while you play.
The only exceptions to the free play are photo booths and claw machines. These typically are not included.
Best of all, with parks like Hollywood Studios and the Magic Kingdom staying open a bit later this month, you still have plenty of time to head back to the magic after your break! The weather will be a bit more tolerable as the evening sets in.
