Disney World Changes Popular After Hours Event

Walt Disney World also hosts special ticketed events throughout the year, such as After Hours. This allows Guests to have three hours of extra park time!

Note that this is different from Extended Evening Hours, which allow guests staying at Disney's Deluxe Resorts to stay in the parks later.

After Hours allows you to experience shorter wait times for attractions and enjoy complimentary snacks such as ice cream, popcorn, and select drinks.

New Attractions Added at Magic Kingdom

At Magic Kingdom, the event runs from 10 PM to 1 AM. Ticket prices range from $175 to $199 per ticket plus tax; ticket prices vary by date.There are several dates still available for After Hours at Magic Kingdom including:

June 22 and 29
July 13 and 27

There are no later dates for Magic Kingdom due to the start of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party starting in August. This will quickly be followed by Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Walt Disney World shared that two attractions are now added to After Hours at Magic Kingdom with Frontierland's Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Tomorrowland's Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin.

Both attractions received a great refresh and have garnered BIG wait times throughout the day. After Hours will be a great time to enjoy these attractions with a lower wait time.

New Attraction Added at Hollywood Studios

After Hours takes place at Disney's Hollywood Studios, typically from 9:30 pm until 12:30 am (with a few exceptions). Tickets are $155 to $189 per ticket, plus tax (prices vary by date).

These are the remaining Disney's Hollywood Studios After-Hours dates for 2026:

June 10, 17 and 24
July 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29
August 5, 12, 19 and 26
September 2 and 12

Act quickly to secure your tickets! After Hours events have a limited number of tickets for each night.

Disney has now added Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets to this After Hours lineup.
