Disney World Changes Virtual Queue System
After the return of the Virtual Queue at Walt Disney World, Disney is making a change starting next week. Find out what you need to know before your next visit.
Disney World Virtual Queue
A virtual queue is a lottery-type system that gives you a boarding group. Once you enter the queue and successfully obtain your boarding group, you go about your day as normal until your boarding group is called.
This can be done through the Disney World and Disneyland apps for any rides, special experiences, or merchandise events that require it.
A virtual queue was first introduced with Rise of the Resistance and was later used for the opening of Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, TRON Lightcycle/Run, and Tiana's Bayou Adventure.
Bluey's Wild World Virtual Queue
When "Bluey's Wild World" opened at Disney's Animal Kingdom on May 26, 2026, it utilized a virtual queue through the My Disney Experience app.
There are two times daily for Guests to join the virtual queue: 7:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. The Virtual Queue is now activated and can be viewed on the My Disney Experience app.
The 7:00 am Virtual Queue filled within seconds each day. On the first day, the 10:00 am Virtual Queue filled within seconds. However, on the following days, the Virtual Queue remained open for 90+ minutes.
Virtual Queue Change
Disney did not share how long a Virtual Queue would be in place for "Bluey's Wild World". Today, we learned that starting June 2, 2026, a standby queue will be used for "Bluey's Wild World".
The final day for Bluey's Wild World Virtual Queue is June 1, 2026.
