Disney Notifies All-Star Movies Resort Guests

Staying at a Disney Resort offers many great amenities, including transportation, early theme park entry, and proximity to the parks. Disney offers a variety of resort options to best fit each guest's needs and price points. These include value resorts, moderate resorts, and deluxe resorts.

There are five value resorts at Disney World, and three of those are the All-Star Resorts: All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, and All-Star Sports. Like the term "value" implies, All-Star resorts rely heavily on cost and theme.

All-Star Movies Refurbishment

Disney already alerted guests that, beginning this month, May 2026, Disney's All-Star Movies will begin a lengthy room refurbishment. Disney warns that Guests may see and/or hear construction during the day.

Disney will complete this refurbishment in phases, blocking off select groups of rooms at a time. This will reduce the number of rooms available for Guests to book.

It is no secret that due to the fun Disney animation theming, Disney's All-Star Movies is one of the most popular of the All-Star Resorts.

Now, Disney announces a new refurbishment project at All-Star Movies at the main retail location, Donald's Double Feature. This refurbishment is set to last through late August 2026. Thankfully, Donald's Double Feature will remain open during this refurbishment.

Disney does try to keep areas as clear as possible during refurbishments; however, this may create a noticeable problem for Guests hoping to stay at Disney's All-Star Movies.
