Disney Resort Perks
Many Guests choose to stay at Disney Parks Resort to enjoy many great perks. They feel that the price of a Disney Resort is justified to be able to stay inside the "Disney Bubble".
A few of the most popular perks include early access to Lightning Lane selections and various modes of free Disney transportation throughout Walt Disney World. You can even interact with their favorite Disney pals at select Disney resorts. See the schedule Disney made for this fun perk HERE.
Now a popular perk, Early Entry, is now even more magical.
Early Entry Change
Early Theme Park Entry is a perk for all guests staying at a Disney resort hotel. All guests utilizing this benefit can take advantage of entering the parks 30 minutes before the parks officially open.
Earlier, Disney promised, "This summer, characters will be available across all four theme parks during this period. Be sure to visit each theme park across different days so you can see them all!"
With today, May 26, 2026, being the official kickoff for "Cool KID'S SUMMER", roaming Disney characters delivered a magical experience. During Early Entry at Disney's Animal Kingdom, we spotted both Dug and Russell greeting Guests in front of the Tree of Life.

Free Disney Water Park Perk
Today, another favorite resort perk returns as well. Guests checking in between May 26, 2026, and September 8, 2026, can enjoy free entry at either Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach.
Roaming Disney characters return to Early Entry for "Cool KID'S SUMMER".
It is important to note that this is only applicable for your arrival day. Plan ahead, as parks can reach capacity. See how this perk will change in 2027 HERE.
