Disney World Activates New Virtual Queue

A virtual queue is a lottery-type system that gives you a boarding group. Once you enter the queue and successfully obtain your boarding group, you go about your day as normal until your boarding group is called.

This can be done through the Disney World and Disneyland apps for any rides, special experiences, or merchandise events that require it.

A virtual queue was first introduced with Rise of the Resistance and was later used for the opening of Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, TRON Lightcycle/Run, and Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

As we shared previously, when "Bluey's Wild World" opens at Disney's Animal Kingdom tomorrow, May 26, 2026 it will utilize a virtual queue through the My Disney Experience app.

There will be two times daily for Guests to join the virtual queue: 7:00am or 10:00am. The Virtual Queue is now activated and can be viewed on the My Disney Experience app.

The virtual queue will include the entire experience- the Wildlife Express Train, Bluey's Wild World, Animal Care Experiences at Conservation Station, and Jumping Junction.

For the 7:00am virtual queue, Guests must have a valid admission and park reservation if applicable for Disney's Animal Kingdom. Guests will not need to be inside the park to join.

For the 10:00am virtual queue Guests will need to have a valid admission AND be inside the Disney's Animal Kingdom to join the queue. Walt Disney World has not indicated how long the Virutal Queue will remain in place for "Bluey's Wild World".

Tips for Disney World's Virtual Queue

The only way that you may obtain a Virtual Queue for "Bluey's Wild World" is through the My Disney Experience app. Prior to your magical day at Disney's Animal Kingdom, you will want to update a few things in your My Disney Experience app.

First, you will want to make sure that you have the most updated version of the My Disney Disney Experience app.

Walt Disney World has not indicated how long the Virutal Queue will remain in place for "Bluey's Wild World".

Second, each member of your family/traveling group will need to have their tickets linked on the My Disney Experience app. All the members of your party will appear during the booking process. If they do not, a Guest Services Cast Member will be correct the error easily.

A great Pirate Tip is to set alarms on your phone two minutes before the 7:00am and 10:00am Virtual Queue time frames (if you should need the second time). "Time flies when you are having fun," and these helpful alarms will alert you so you don't miss the opportunity to join a Virtual Queue.

Step #3: Quickly hit "Join" on the left

These tips are invaluable to give you the best possible chance to secure a Boarding Group. If you were unable to receive a Boarding Group at 7:00am, you will want to follow these same steps in order to receive a 10:00am Virtual Queue.
