Pool Refurbishments At Disney World

As inconvenient as a refurbishment is, they need to be done to keep things running at their best. Refurbishments can occur at all kinds of locations, including restaurants, attractions, shops, hotel rooms and lobbies, and even the hotel pools.

Disney tries to inform Guests as early as possible of any upcoming refurbishment plans.

Refurbishment at Disney's Riviera Resort

The S'il Vous Play Water Play Area at Disney's Riviera Resort is currently closed. This closure began on February 16, 2026 and is expected to last through February 19, 2026.

The S'il Vous Play Water Play Area at Disney's Riviera Resort is currently closed for routine maintenance.

It is expected that the S'il Vous Play Water Play Area will reopen to Guests on February 20, 2026.

How Will This Impact Guests

Fortunately, Guests staying at Disney's Riviera Resort will still have access to the pools. The resort pools will remain open during the routine maintenance of S'il Vous Play Water Play Area.

During the routine maintenance, Guests may see and hear maintenance activity in the area.

Guests may hear or see the refurbishment during daytime hours.
