New Adventureland Project Surprises Guests

Walt Disney World has so many BIG projects planned, and now Adventureland has been added to the growing list of refurbishments and expansions.

As Walt Disney once said, "We keep moving forward," and that is very true at Walt Disney World. The Walt Disney Company shared BIG plans for Walt Disney World over the next 10 years.

These plans greatly affect Magic Kingdom, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom. Epcot was in a state of transformation that began in 2019 and continued until CommuniCore Hall was completed in 2024.

While the EPCOT transformation was pared down quite a bit, the majority of work is now complete in this park for the time being.

Tiki Room Refurbishment

Back in November, Disney filed a permit for work at 4046738-4878C Caribbean Way. This is the address for Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room.

The contractor listed is PCL Construction Services for "General Construction". Disney has not announced a refurbishment for this attraction.

Today, Disney Guests shared that railings can now be seen at the attraction's roof. Currently, the thatched roof remains intact surrounding this attraction.

While Disney has not announced this refurbishment, it appears that this may be the reason for the permit. Thankfully, at this time, this does not affect the Enchanted Tiki Room operating hours.

Painting is now taking place at the Enchanted Tiki Room.

Although the Disney Parks stay busy throughout the calendar year, there are slower times for the parks. With the growing list of refurbishments, it appears that January and February are the "Refurbishment Months" for the Disney Parks.
