Frozen Ever After Receives Additional Changes
Guests can enjoy even more changes than expected aboard Frozen Ever After at EPCOT. Check out the full details of the work taking place on this favorite attraction.
Frozen Ever After

The Frozen Ever After attraction is quite popular with guests both young and young at heart and often has wait times of an hour or more of waiting during peak seasons.
Guests are invited to hop on an ancient Nordic boat and voyage through scenes of the film. This journey includes many of our favorite songs while also plunging guests forward and backward through the wintry world of Frozen.
Frozen Ever After closed on January 26, 2026, for a pretty big update to give new face animatronics for Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff.

While we are very excited for the shift from the projection screen faces, Disney also updated several more aspects of this attraction during this closure.
During a recent interview with the Orlando Sentinel, Ken Ricci, executive creative development for Walt Disney Imagineering shared that three additional elements were also addressed.
The show control system received an update, the show lighting was refreshed, and the set was touched up throughout the ride.
Frozen Ever After Reopening Date

Ricci shares, "Anytime an attraction goes down, we take an opportunity to freshen up what we can. So, we touched up a lot and some show lighting, so it should look refreshed."
Frozen Ever After will look fully refreshed when it reopens on February 12, 2026.
The Walt Disney World now shows operating hours for Frozen Ever After on February 12, 2026.
