A very special parade is coming to Walt Disney World for one day only. Here is everything you need to know to get in on the celebration.
Celebrate Soulfully at Disney World
February is Black History Month. Both Walt Disney World and Disneyland will be offering guests a way to celebrate soulfully throughout the month.
You can celebrate the month by indulging in soulful eats at select locations around Walt Disney World's theme parks and hotels. Be on the lookout for special Black History Month entrees and snacks.
You can also celebrate through special musical performances in EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. And you will see awe-inspiring art displays from black artists at the festival and at Disney Springs as well.
Special Parade in the Magic Kingdom
Even better, this year, the Magic Kingdom will be offering a special parade to celebrate Black History Month. According to Disney Parks Blog, "Toya Johnson-Rushing Named Grand Marshal for Special Magic Kingdom Parade!"
A special parade moment will make its way through Magic Kingdom and officially usher in Black History Month festivities at Disney World.
The parade is sure to be filled with joyful, high-energy celebration. And, it will feature beloved Disney characters, lively music, and dazzling displays.
When to See the Parade in Magic Kingdom
This special parade is happening for one day only! You can expect it to pop up on February 9, 2026.
A Special Black History Month Parade Moment will pop up at 3:00 PM on February 9, 2026.
According to Disney, it will begin making its way along the parade route starting around 3:00 PM. If you happen to be in the park on February 9th, you won't want to miss it.
