There's something extra magical about being at the Disney Parks during the holiday season. Disney offers ALL the Christmas decorations, characters in unique costumes, festive meals, and so much more! 

The holiday overlays are a fun way to experience classic Disney attractions.

Disney even brings fun, holiday overlays to a few of our favorite attractions, including the Jingle Cruise at Magic Kingdom, Haunted Mansion at Disneyland, and It's a small world at Disneyland.

Children of all ages enjoy the festive dolls singing and scenes from around the world in the "it's a small world" ride. Disneyland (in California) brings a fun, holiday overlay both inside with festive decorations, and outside with thousands of twinkling lights.

Guests visiting Disneyland this year got to enjoy the holiday overlay longer, as it was extended!

"it's a small world" Holiday overlay had it's final day of operation for this holiday season on Sunday, January 25, 2026. At that time, no reopening date was announced.

Reopening Date Revealed!

'it's a small world' in Disneyland Park now has a reopening date from the removal of the holiday overlay. The attraction will reopen without the overlay on Friday, February 6, 2026.

'it's a small world' will reopen after the removal of the holiday overlay on February 6, 2026.

Soon, Guests will once again be able to see the attraction without the overlay. Please note that this attraction may close to accommodate fireworks performances.
