There's something extra magical about being at the Disney Parks during the holiday season. Disney offers ALL the Christmas decorations, characters in unique costumes, festive meals, and so much more!

This week, guests can enjoy great Christmas entertainment that was previously only offered during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Disney even brings fun, holiday overlays to a few of our favorite attractions, including the Jingle Cruise at Magic Kingdom, Haunted Mansion at Disneyland, and It's a small world at Disneyland.

it's a small world

Children of all ages enjoy the festive dolls singing and scenes from around the world in the "it's a small world" ride. You might even find yourself humming the iconic "It's a Small World After All" song long after the ride. The journey takes you through different locations around the world on a boat with about a dozen other guests.

The Disneyland version of the ride is different from the original version created for the 1964 World's Fair. Disneyland recently debuted new characters to this classic attraction.

Disneyland also brings a fun, holiday overlay both inside with festive decorations, and outside with thousands of twinkling lights.

Holiday Overlay Extended

This year, guests can enjoy "it's a small world" Holiday a little longer. The Disneyland website shows operating hours until Sunday, January 25, 2026.

"it's a small world" Holiday closes on Sunday, January 25, 2026.

The operating calendar only extends until February 3, 2026. "it's a small world" offers no operating hours from Monday, January 26 until February 3, 2026. At this time is unclear when the attraction will reopen. Every year, this transition can take several weeks to complete.
