Disney World Just Reduced Operating Hours
Walt Disney World reserves the right to adjust operational hours as needed, and this will affect select attractions for multiple days. Find out how this will affect your next visit.
Disney World Hours
Since Walt Disney World does not close for select seasons, refurbishments and maintenance occur during operating hours. At times, attraction operating hours are also affected due to the weather.
The National Weather Service has issued an Extreme Cold Watch for all of Walt Disney World starting Saturday, January 31st evening and ending the afternoon of Sunday, February 1st.
To prepare for this winter advisory, Disney Cast Members are taking safety measures throughout the Walt Disney World Resort.
Tiana's Bayou Adventure
For those brave souls who want to go down the bayou this weekend, operational hours have been adjusted for Tiana's Bayou Adventure.
Tiana's Bayou Adventure did not open at Park Opening this morning. The Walt Disney World calendar shows that Tiana's Bayou Adventure will not open until 11:00 am today, January 31st, tomorrow February 1st, and also Monday, February 2nd.
Tiana's Bayou Adventure will also close early at 9:00 pm each night (January 31 through February 2). While Disney has not announced that this was due to cold weather, it appears that this may be the reason for this change.
Kali River Rapids
It comes as no surprise that Kali River Rapids will also offer reduced operating hours this chilly weekend.
Tiana's Bayou Adventure and Kali River Rapids offer reduced operating hours for several days.
Kali River Rapids will not open until 11:00 am January 31st through February 2nd. Normal operating hours return on February 3rd. It will continue to operate until the park closes each night.
