Big Character Changes And More Coming To Disney's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge
Disney has just announced some exciting news for Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Find out what characters will be appearing and other exciting additions that will be coming soon!
"Unlocking The Timeline"
Disney has just announced that it will be "unlocking the timeline" at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, which will include more eras of Star Wars.
Guests visiting Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland will be able to be surrounded by different points in the Star Wars saga.
This all will begin on April 29, 2026. Please note that these new experiences are only coming to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland and NOT to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disney World.
New Character Experiences
Darth Vader will begin appearing in Galaxy's Edge along with Imperial Stormtroopers beginning April 29th! You will find him around the outpost. Check out the announcement from Disney below:
Guests can find Luke Skywalker roaming the Black Spire Outpost. Leia Organa will reunite with Luke and Chewbacca near the Millennium Falcon.
Han Solo will also roam near the Millennium Falcon and Olga's Cantina. But Guests will still encounter familiar faces in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. You can find Ahsoka Tano and The Mandalorian and Grodu near the marketplace. R2-D2 will be rolling through the land and Rey will be spotted around the Resistance camp.
New Background Music Loop
Disneyland also shared that Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge would be getting new background music! Songs from legendary composer, John Williams, will now be part of the music background loop.
John Williams' scores from six Star Wars films will be part of the new background music.
The background music will include "Main Title," "Han Solo and the Princess," "The Emperor," and more!
