Disney's Featured Provider Is Now Alerting Guests
You have your entire Walt Disney World trip booked and your budget in place; this would not be the news you want to hear. Find out how this will affect many Guests in the coming months.
Disney World 3rd Party Providers
There is nothing quite like staying at a Walt Disney World Resort and inside what may lovingly call the "Disney Bubble". Guests have many resort options from deluxe, moderate, and value resorts.
Over the years, Disney has increased restrictions for 3rd party providers. Fort Wilderness saw the biggest change for this back in 2024.
Disney placed tighter restrictions for Guests bringing their own golf carts to Fort Wilderness and placed a ban for 3rd party providers for renting golf carts. Guests are encouraged to rent golf carts directly from Disney.
Disney Featured Providers
One other change affected Guests renting an RV. Disney has many "Featured Providers" for guests to rent RVs from. One benefit of renting from one of these providers is that the guest does not have to be present when the RV arrives.
Guests may still bring their own RV, but only registered guests will be permitted. This prevents third-party providers from delivering RVs for guests.
Currently, there are only 4 "Featured Providers" to rent RVs. These include:
- Meacham's RV Rental - (941) 224-4939
- Escape RV Rental - (407) 374-3657
- Kissimmee Orlando RV Rental - (407) 368-7899
- Ohana Camper Rental - (386) 748-9328
Ohana Camper Rental Ending
Guests are now being notified of reservations through Ohana Camper Rental. The notification shares, "We are no longer able to run the business in the same capacity as we once were able to."
Ohana Camper Rental is ending operations as a Disney Featured Provider.
Sadly, this unfortunate change is due to health concerns. Guests with current reservations will be referred to Meacham's RV Rental after consenting to this change through an email notification.
"Meacham's RV will also possess our fleet, which means you will still have the same camper you selected with us and reservation total, minus the cost of trip and/or damage insurance. If you added either of these options (you will be able to add them back with Meacham's, if you would like). Your deposit will also be transferred to Meacham's RV."
