New Character Experience Coming to This Magic Kingdom Restaraunt

One thing that sets Disney Parks apart from other Theme Parks is so many great character meet and greets. We all love classic characters like Mickey and his pals, but many Disney fans love rare meet-and-greets.

At times, Disney characters will greet guests to help promote new Disney films. Such as the fun meet and greet with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde at Disney's Animal Kingdom for Disney's animated film Zootopia 2.

The special ticketed events, such as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, also offer great opportunities to meet rare Disney characters.

Disney also brings out special characters for holidays throughout the year. Today, Disney shared that a brand new character interactive experience is coming to Magic Kingdom.

Join Jessie, Woody, and friends for some energetic fun at Jessie's Roundup, where you'll craft, dance, and yodel your hearts out in this western revue.

This will be located at the Diamond Horseshoe at Magic Kingdom for "Cool KIDS' SUMMER".

Diamond Horseshoe Character Experience

The Diamond Horseshoe previously hosted "Goofy's Country Dancin' Jamboree" back in 2004. Since that time, the Diamond Horseshoe has occasionally offered character meet and greets.

"Cool KIDS' SUMMER" returns May 26, 2026, through September 8, 2026, at Walt Disney World.

We are excited for this space to be filled with Jessie and the Toy Story gang this summer. At this time, it is unclear if this will be a character dining experience or simply a character interaction for all guests.
