But, some things never change, and one of those things is our appreciation for Walt Disney World's animal residents.
Disney Animals Ring in 2026
Disney's Animal Kingdom residents participated in ringing in 2026. They celebrated with some fun animal enrichment!
The tigers enjoyed a 2026 leaf pile to play in. Meanwhile, some of the animals got to enjoy 2026-themed snacks!
But 2025 is not a year to forget for the Disney animals. We said some sad farewells--you can read our tribute to one of Animal Kingdom's original residents HERE. However, there was a lot to celebrate, too!

Disney's animal resident had a lot of fun in 2025.
A new white rhino joined the herd. Disney's baby Bakso the tiger celebrated one year around the sun. Disney started short-term care for manatee rehabilitation at The Seas in EPCOT. And we got new babies of all kinds! Hopefully, 2026 will bring more of the magic of nature to Disney Parks!
