Reopening Date for Disney's Hollywood Studios Attraction

Disney's Hollywood Studios has many attractions currently closed, but we finally have a reopening date for a fan-favorite attraction. Be sure to update your touring plans!

Hollywood Studios Changes

Disney's Hollywood Studios is a bit of a mess right now. Muppet Courtyard is a demolition zone as Disney prepares to bring Monstropolis to this space.

Construction walls continue to expand over the former Animation Courtyard. Yesterday, we shared the new pathway for guests to access Toy Story Land and "The Little Mermaid-A Musical Adventure".

The construction walls are even present in Toy Story Land as land is cleared for a possible new snack stand. Guests can see current Imagineering plans for many of these new projects at this new display.

Earlier, we shared that yet another Disney's Hollywood Studios attraction would close. Vacation Fun allows guests can relax in adorable Mickey Mouse-themed seats and enjoy several of our favorite animated shorts featuring Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

Vacation Fun temporarily closed on October 20, 2025. Oftentimes, Disney will announce a reopening date, but not for this refurbishment.

Disney simply promises that it "planned to open later this year."

Vacation Fun Reopening Date

Disney has now released an opening date for Vacation Fun on December 27, 2025, according to the Walt Disney World website.

While the attraction was closed, it was opened to guests at Disney's Jollywood Nights selling event specific merchandise. It is unclear if this attraction was closed simply for Disney's Jollywood Nights merchandise or if a refurbishment did take place.
