Disney World Suspends Firework Experience in 2026
Be prepared for this unexpected change! Your next views of Walt Disney World fireworks may look a bit different starting next month.
Disney World Nighttime Entertainment

Nobody does nighttime entertainment quite like Walt Disney World. With Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom, Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Luminous at EPCOT, there is so much to enjoy as the sun sets.
One thing that might not be so magical is the size of the crowds being stuffed down Main Street U.S.A. and finding the perfect spot to watch around the World Showcase at EPCOT.
For this reason, many guests choose to book an enchanting extra fireworks viewing experience.
Disney World Fireworks Experiences

Disney has so many fireworks shows, nighttime spectaculars, and special performances. They give Guests the opportunity to enjoy a delicious meal (or variety of desserts) and take advantage of reserved seating for the show.
For Magic Kingdom, there are several dessert parties for Happily Ever After. At Hollywood Studios, dining packages are available for Fantasmic!
Epcot has the most dining packages. They offer packages for each of the live entertainment options during the festivals. This includes Disney on Broadway, Garden Rocks, Eat to the Beat, and Candlelight Processional.
Fireworks Experience Suspended

EPCOT's newest lounge, GEO-82, offers a unique fireworks experience. Unfortunately, this offering is suspended for two weeks in 2026.
GEO-82 Fireworks Experience is suspended starting late January 2026.
Advanced reservations are required for this experience. When attempting to book in late January 2026, the website shows that this experience is closed starting Sunday, January 25, 2026, through Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
This is as far as the reservation calendar extends, so it is unclear if this experience will be closed for even more dates in 2026. Interestingly, the GEO-82 Bar is open during these dates. It is unclear why the GEO-82 Fireworks Experience is closed.
