Our Kenny the Pirate writing team updates you with the latest news on Disney's theme parks. The park hours initially provided by Disney can help you prepare for your visit, but they often change as the dates get closer.

As the season shifts from fall to all things Christmas, there are several operational changes that will affect the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.
Magic Kingdom Park Hours
Walt Disney World often adjusts operating hours based on crowd attendance and will often open Magic Kingdom early on Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party nights.
Magic Kingdom will open early on November 30, December 2nd, 4th, and 5th at 8:00 am for all Guests and 7:30 am (Early Entry Disney Resort guests).
The above-mentioned dates are all nights where Magic Kingdom will close early for day ticket guests for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. December 6, 2025 will be one of the best days to visit the Magic Kingdom. The park will open early at 8:00 am for all Guests and 7:30 am (Early Entry Disney Resort guests). The park will close later than first announced at 11:00 pm.
Best Time to Visit Disney World
Disney's Hollywood Studios will open earlier on December 1st and 6th at 8:30 for all guests and 8:00 am for Early Entry. This will allow day guests to enjoy the parks earlier, as the park will close early for Disney's Jollywood Nights.
The weekend of December 5th and 6th, guests can enjoy extra park hours at all 4 Theme Parks.
December 5th, Disney's Hollywood Studios opens at 8:30 am for all guests and 8:00 am for Early Entry, even though this is not a Disney's Jollywood Nights. Guests can enjoy a little extra magic in the parks this day.
December 6, 2025, will be a great day to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom. The park will open at 8:00 am for all guests and at 7:30 am for Early Entry. Animal Kingdom will stay open later until 8:00 pm.
