Each candy cane takes about two hours to create. The candy cane makers begin very early in the morning! The room in which the candy canes are made must be kept between 100 and 105 degrees as the candy cane cannot take its shape and form in any other conditions.

Each candy cane takes two hours to make and are made by hand!

This tradition started in 1968! Every year, Guests can't wait to get their hands on these delicious holiday treats.

When and Where to Get One

Distribution of the iconic candy canes begin soon! Candy canes are available for purchase on select days between November 28 through December 25, 2025.

Candy Canes are available in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.

The hand-pulled candy canes are available at the Candy Palace & Candy Kitchen in Disneyland and the Trolley Treats in Disney California Adventure. You can find them at Candy Palace & Candy Kitchen on November 28 and 30 and December 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 22, and 24. They will be available at Trolley Treats on November 29 and December 1, 3, 8 10, 15, 17, 23, and 25.

Wristbands will be distributed this year unlike last year when a mobile waitlist was used. Guests must have a wristband in order to purchase a candy cane. Candy canes will not be available through mobile order.

In-person purchase is required AND there is a LIMIT of 1 per guest per day! No discounts can be applied and there are no exchanges or refunds.

Each guest with a wristband can only purchase one candy cane. Quantities are very limited.
