Walt Disney World has announced an opening time frame for the world-famous Jungle Cruise.

The hilarious Magic Kingdom ride, Jungle Cruise, gets a complete makeover every year. The overlay receives festive decorations, jolly jokes, and special seasonal touches that make it unique. The idea is that the skippers get homesick for the holidays, and Guests set out on a new adventure.

Jingle Cruise runs every November to January, so make sure you put it on your Character Locator itinerary.

You don't want to miss the holiday version of this attraction! It feels like a whole new ride with all the changes.

This year, Jingle Cruise began yesterday, November 3, 2025. We love this overlay and are excited that this attraction will receive its fun, holiday overlay 5 days before the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Many guests with plans to visit Magic Kingdom during the first of the year, wondered when Jingle Cruise would set sail for the last time this holiday season.

Disney now confirms that January 1, 2026, will be the last voyage for the Jingle Cruise. The traditional Jungle Cruise will return on January 2, 2026.

Thankfully, this change from Jingle Cruise to Jungle Cruise will not affect Magic Kingdom guests. The transformation will take place overnight when the final Magic Kingdom guests exit on January 1, 2026.

Jungle Cruise reopens on January 2, 2026.
