Disney Parks Suggests Budget Tips After Drastically Raising Prices
With growing price increases at the Disney Parks, many loyal fans question whether the price is worth it. Now, Disney Parks explain that it is the guest who must make choices to make a Disney vacation affordable.
Disney Price Increases

Price increases are a part of life at Walt Disney World. The trend is for Guests to expect prices to increase every single year.
Ticket prices are on the rise for a single-day ticket and for a Park Hopper at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland.
Guests hoping to skip long standby queues will now pay more for both Lightning Lane Multi-Pass and Single Pass options. After anticipating changes for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the new simplified package selections also come with higher prices. Along with higher prices for many dining options and on your favorite Disney souvenirs.
Disney Fires Back Over High Park Prices

Over the past several months, the Walt Disney Company has been under attack by many who feel that the Disney parks are too expensive for the average family. Walt Disney first envisioned Disneyland as a place where parents and children could enjoy attractions in a magical land together.
The recent price increases have not helped to change the minds of many loyal Disney fans. Previously, Josh D'Amaro, the Chairman of Disney Experiences, stated that the affordability of a Disney Parks vacation is really the guest's responsibility.
D'Amaro shares that the goal of Disney Parks is to deliver great value. D'Amaro shares that even those families who are "budget-conscious" can still enjoy a Disney family vacation. Read more on his suggestions HERE.
Disney on a Budget

We were intrigued when Good Morning America presented "Disneyland on a Budget." They came up with tips to help maximize the fun and decrease the spending. Their tips include arriving to the parks early for "Rope Drop" and they recommend that guests skip purchasing the Lightning Lane passes to skip the lines. See our review of Lighting Lane Multi-Pass HERE.
2 Tips for visiting Disney Parks on a budget are to skip Lightning Lanes and Character Dining.
They suggest watching the wait times on the Disney apps to enjoy shorter wait times without spending additional money (we think this was already a pretty obvious tip). They also suggest skipping the character meals and simply meeting characters in the Parks.
Their biggest "budget" tip is to minimize purchases by bringing in your own water bottle and snacks into the park. You can check out our tips to stay hydrated in the Disney Parks HERE.
Final tips include choosing your Disney Parks ticket based on prices, taking advantage of lower-priced dates.

They also share a tip that we use often by purchasing Disney gift cards with great promotions to help save additional money on tickets and other Disney purchases. These tips are great, but ones that we have been using and recommending to you, our readers, for several years.
This new suggestion of how to do "Disney on a Budget" does not exactly help when prices just increased so much only a few days ago. Our best tip to enjoy "Disney on a Budget" is to follow along with the Kenny the Pirate Crew and gain useful tips to "Play More, Wait Less" with Character Locator.

And this is one of the big reasons D'Amaro IS NOT a good replacement for Iger.
I 100% agree with you. It is the same problematic thinking.
