The Toy Story Meet and Greet We Didn't Know We Needed

We love all of the classic Toy Story meet and greets, but this is the Toy Story Meet and Greet that none of us had on our character bingo cards, but we do now!

Rare Disney Characters

One thing that sets Disney apart from any other theme park is the great character interactions. We love meeting classic characters like Mickey Mouse and tel Fab 5.

But then we also love meeting the characters that are a bit more rare. You will not see these Disney characters except for special ticketed events or runDinsney races.

We are still shocked over the many great characters featured during the D23 Kuzcotopia event at Typhoon Lagoon this past August. You can check these out HERE.

Toy Story Characters

Toy Story has been a Pixar classic for three decades and the popularity continues to grow with the young and the young at heart. We love to meet Woody, Buzz, and Jessie.

Bo Peep is a bit of a rare character for guests. She met regularly back in the summer of 2019 when Toy Story 4 came to theatres, but since then, she has been a surprise character or only appeared for special events. This summer, we were shocked to see her greeting guests at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Lotso (spoiler alert: he doesn't smell like fresh strawberries) will greet guests again this year at Disney's Hollywood Studios, Jollywood Nights.

Partysaurus Rex

This past June, Rex from Toy Story greeted Guests at Disney's California Adventure in honor of the 30th Anniversary of Toy Story. If this wasn't amazing enough, they just brought an exciting overlay to this meet and greet.

Now, he is Partysaurus Rex. This is one of my (Donna) kids' favorite Toy Story Toons, where Rex brings the party along with fellow bathtub pals. He is now greeting Guests at Pixar Pier in Disney's California Adventure. We wish he would stomp his way over to Walt Disney World.
