Disney Shares Update for President Trump at the Hall of Presidents
After an extensive closure, Disney now confirms the new updates for the Hall of Presidents at Magic Kingdom. Find out when this attraction may reopen.
Hall of Presidents Closure

One Magic Kingdom attraction that undergoes a quite lengthy refurbishment every four years is the Hall of Presidents. This attraction closed on January 20, 2025, to hopefully return President Donald Trump to the center.
Earlier this month, Magic Kingdom guests were able to enjoy the lobby of the Hall of Presidents. This offered a break from the Florida sun and enjoy many patriotic portraits and memorabilia from many U.S. Presidents. We appreciate that Disney is now offering more indoor, air-conditioned spots for guests.
Many hoped this closure would be shorter than in years past since the President Trump animatronic was already created. At that time, Cast Members did not share when the actual show will reopen to guests.
Hall of Presidents Reopening

With not much word from Walt Disney World, many wondered if changes would be made to this attraction. Today, Walt Disney World finally shares an update for this attraction on their website.
"Watch the curtain rise to reveal startingly realistic Audio-Animatronics replicas of every President of the United States- together for the first time. Hear a speech delivered by George Washington and a recorded performance by President Donald Trump."
Previously, Disney posted that this attraction would "open later this year", but this has now been removed. Disney surprised us all when it quietly reopened the attraction this morning, June 29, 2025.
Disney Patriotic Heritage

Walt Disney endeavored for both Disneyland and Walt Disney World to foster pride in our country. This is clearly evident as you see the American flags lined along Main Street, USA
Disney quietly reopened Hall of Presidents today, June 29th.
The addition of attractions such as the Hall of Presidents in Magic Kingdom and Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln in Disneyland are great ways for all guests to connect with our American heritage.
