Magic Kingdom’s fireworks will be changing soon, and you will not want to miss this news. Find out what this will mean for your next trip to Magic Kingdom.
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Schedule Change

Nobody does nighttime entertainment quite like Walt Disney World. With Happily Ever After at the Magic Kingdom, Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Luminous at EPCOT, there is so much to enjoy as the sun sets.
Typically, Happily Ever After showtimes shift to 9:20 pm due to later summer evenings. On July 6, 2025, Happily Ever After makes a noticeable shift with a 10:00 pm showtime.
This may change many guests’ touring plans for the day. Many guests with younger kids find a 9:20 pm showtime to be a bit late. Now extending fireworks viewing to 10:00 pm may be a bit more difficult. This schedule change may be caused by “Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away” debuting on July 20th.
Disney Celebrate America Fireworks

Disney loves to go the extra mile during the holidays. Mix this with the patriotic spirit of Walt Disney, and you have a beautiful patriotic celebration for guests visiting Walt Disney World for the week of 4th of July.
At the Magic Kingdom, “Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” nighttime spectacular with booming fireworks lighting up the sky and orchestrated to patriotic melodies will take place July 3 and July 4 at 9:20 p.m.
Because of this special fireworks display, Happily Ever After will not be offered on July 3rd and 4th.
EPCOT “Heartbeat of Freedom”

Typically, EPCOT offers a limited-time patriotic Fourth of July grand finale – “Heartbeat of Freedom” at the end of “Luminous.” At this time, EPCOT has not confirmed that this will return this year…yet.
“Disney’s Celebrate America” returns on July 3rd and 4th.
In the past, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios did not offer patriotic fireworks options. Select Walt Disney World Resorts also restrict access to firework viewing locations for July 3rd and 4th. Read more on these restrictions HERE.
