Disney’s Hollywood Studios will close early on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 6:00 pm. Typically, Disney’s Hollywood Studios would close at 9:00 pm. At this time, Disney has not shared the reason for this early closure, but many times this is due to a private event.

Our experience has been that days when Magic Kingdom closes early for specially ticketed events, such as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, can be magical. This can also allow you extra time to enjoy many of the great characters and entertainment for “Cool Kid Summer.”

Disney’s Hollywood Studios closes early on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 6:00 pm.

Many guests will avoid Disney’s Hollywood Studios on this date, which will create low wait times. Although you will miss Fantasmic!, these lower crowds will make this a great day at the Park. If you have a Park Hopper ticket, you could enjoy short wait times at Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the day, and hop to enjoy great nighttime entertainment at another park for the evening.
