Orlando International Airport (MCO for short) is a busy airport. Many people traveling to or from Disney World use this airport as it is only about a half hour away.

MCO is consistently listed in the top 10 busiest airports in the United States due to the number of travelers visiting Central Florida. At over 11,000 acres it is also one of the largest airports as well.

At approximately noon today, Orlando International Airport shared on their social media that they are experiencing a water system outage. Their statement on social media reads:

“Advisory: Due to a water system outage, restrooms and water fountains in Terminals A & B (pre-security) are currently unavailable. Restrooms and water fountains are available at the gate areas. Terminal C is not affected. We apologize and appreciate your patience as our partners work to resolve the issue.”

The water system outage is impacting restrooms and water fountains in both Terminals A & B before security, making them unavailable to visitors. Terminal C is not impacted by this water system outage. It is also important to note that this water system outage did not impact the hotel, restaurants, and food court as they have a different water line.

However, the Terminal B (pre-security) water system is still being serviced and these restrooms and water fountains remain unavailable.

If you are traveling through Terminal B today, there are employees available for assistance if needed.
