Disney is One Step Closer to The Opening of The Little Mermaid Show

Opening Day for the new Little Mermaid show is getting closer and closer. Find out the latest that has been done in preparation for the new show.

“The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure”

After being closed for several years, the Little Mermaid show returns to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Now with a new name, “The Little Mermaid—A Musical Adventure,” all-new set pieces, effects, and a new design. In addition, the theater will be refreshed!

“Watch as Ariel follows her dreams to be part of the human world. This little mermaid’s adventure is brimming with familiar moments—like encounters with King Triton and Ursula—and stirring scenes.”

“The Little Mermaid—A Musical Adventure” will officially open on May 27, 2025.

Sneak Peek and Previews

Recently, Disney shared a sneak of the “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure.” Jodi Benson (the voice of the animated Ariel) was in attendance for this special treat.

New Marquee

The new marquee for “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” is now in place! Disney has shared images of the beautiful and colorful new marquee.

The marquee for “The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure” has been placed. The new show opens in less than two weeks!

The Standby Entrance and Lightning Lane return clocks have also been installed. The installment of the marquee is a major achievement as the attraction receives the finishing touches before welcoming its first Guests.
