Changes You Need to Know for This Disney Park Entrance

One entrance to a Disney park has reopened, however, another entrance has now closed. Find out which entrances, and if the closure will impact your next trip.

Disney’s Grand California Park Entrance Closure

Back in March, we shared that the Grand California private entrance to Disney’s California Adventure was closed. It was speculated that this closure was for the new turnstile placement. At the time of the closure, it was expected that this entrance to reopen in mid-May.

The Grand California Hotel and Spa’s private entrance to Disney’s California Adventure Park temporarily closed beginning in March, for placement of the new turnstiles. 

An amazing perk of staying at Disney’s Grand California Hotel and Spa is that it has a private entrance to Disney’s California Adventure Park. This entrance is only for Guests staying at the hotel.

Now Open

Yesterday, the Grand California entrance into Disney’s California Adventure Park reopened to hotel Guests! As it had been speculated, the entrance reopened with the new turnstiles.

Pixar Place Hotel Park Entrance Closure

With the completion of the turnstiles at the Grand California, Disney has begun work at Pixar Place Hotel’s dedicated park entrance. Yesterday, Pixar Place Hotel’s entrance to Disney California Adventure closed.

Pixar Place Hotel’s dedicated entrance to Disney California Adventure is now closed.

This closure is expected to last through mid-June while new turnstiles are placed. Disney shared, “During this time, Guests may access the park through an alternate entrance located in Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa, near GCH Craftsman Bar and Grill.”
