Epic Universe Adds New Hours of Operation for Even More Fun

Are you excited to head to Epic Universe when it officially opens? If so, get excited because you might just have even MORE time to enjoy the park!

Even though Epic Universe hasn't officially hit its opening date of May 22, 2025, there are already guests visiting the park. That is because Epic Universe has been hosting previews and technical rehearsals all month long.

Technical rehearsals/previews offer Epic Universe Team Members a chance to practice operations with real guests and make adjustments for opening day! Of course, not everything has gone smoothly. Rides are often down for extended periods, and procedures such as the Virtual Queue for the Ministry of Magic attraction are still being worked out.

One piece of feedback that preview-goers have consistently given is that it is a shame that the park isn't open later so that guests can have more time to enjoy all of the amazing lighting effects during the evening.

Longer Park Hours for Epic Universe

Universal might just be listening to this type of feedback. And, it looks like they are making wishes come true!

Today, Universal updated the park hours for the early days of operation at Epic Universe! Now guests have more time to enjoy an evening in the park!

Opening week originally had published hours of operation listed as 9:00 AM-9:00 PM. However, now Epic Universe will be open until 10:00 PM from May 22 to June 1, 2025.

Most of the month of June has 10:00 am-9:00 PM hours of operation listed for Epic Universe. However, there are sporadic dates in June with 10:00 PM closures listed, including June 16, 23, 24, and 30. But remember, park hours are always subject to change, so keep checking the park hours just in case.

Early Park Admission

Early Park Admission remains in place for select guests, including guests of Universal Hotels, starting on May 23, 2025. From May 23 to June 1, Early Park Admission for Epic Universe is 8:00 AM-9:00 AM. However, from June 2-30, it is currently 9:00 AM-10:00 AM.

For a moment, Universal had posted Early Park Admission times for Opening Day on the park calendar. However, that has since been removed and seems to have been an error. Currently, there is no Early Park Admission for opening day.

Early Park Admission begins on May 23, 2025.

This means that select Guests who visit on most days during the first 2 weeks of operation will have up to 14 hours to enjoy all Epic Universe has to offer!
