Villains Coming to Disney World
During the big D23 fan event last September, Disney officially announced plans for Villains Land. Villains Land will be located at Disney’s Magic Kingdom as part of the “Beyond Big Thunder” expansion.
Our once-perfect Walt Disney World is about to get a villainous makeover. Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, get ready for Sunset Boulevard to be transformed for a new villain’s show.
This new show will feature appearances by dozens of the most infamous evildoers. Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent will delight guests in live production numbers.
New Villains Reveal
Disney describes this show as “A spellbinding show with moving music and a most memorable finale—where you help decide who has been treated most unfairly. Disney’s Hollywood Studios guests noticed that scrim was now in place around the previous Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy. The large logo for the previous attraction is also removed.
The exterior work is not the only change taking place; we now get a sneak peek inside this new show. The stage is set, the mirrors are hung, and soon, the villains will take the stage.

Villains Opening Date
For a while, Disney promised simply opening summer 2025. But today a new opening timeline is now set for this show to open on May 27, 2025.
Villains Unfairly Ever After opens on May 27, 2025.
Yesterday, Disney revealed the opening timeline for both the Villains Unfairly Ever after show and the brand new “The Little Mermaid—A Musical Adventure,” as well. This will be a great summer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
