Disney Annual Shareholder’s Meeting

Disney’s Annual Shareholder’s meeting commenced days ago. CEO Bob Iger broke some interesting news for what is to come from the Walt Disney Company during the meeting.
For example, we learned that Coco 2 is in development as a sequel to the beloved 2017 film! You can read about it HERE.
Iger also said that he would personally ask Disney Animation to get their imaginations going to create some Figment content! You can read about it HERE.

And, there was some news about new attractions, too. In addition to talking about the new Monsters Inc. coaster, Iger also brought up another fun ride.
He also rolled back the curtain on the new Lion King ride that is in development. This attraction featuring Pride Rock is set to be a Splash Mountain-style water ride that will send guests plummeting through the pridelands.
The ride was initially announced at D23. But now there are more detailed views of the completed model available.
