The nighttime show Fantasmic! is a story where Mickey is transported into a dream. He dances along with music, lighting effects, and pyrotechnics. Various characters and scenes from popular Disney movies are part of the sequence as well.

Fantasmic! first opened in Disneyland in 1992 when Disney Imagineers were offered the challenge to create a show featuring both water and fireworks. MGM Studios, now Disney’s Hollywood Studios, debuted Fantasmic in 1998. Last year, the show received a few much-needed changes.

If you are traveling to Disney World soon, it is important to know that Spring Break crowds have arrived at Disney World! The parks are going to be busy. Earlier this week, we shared how crowded it got when Non-Resort Guests were turned away from Blizzard Beach.

It is even more important to have a good touring strategy when the parks are this crowded. Be sure to have a good plan by using Character Locator!
