Disney World has just added additional showings of Fantasmic! Find out when these shows were added and what it could mean for your Disney vacation.
Fantasmic!

The nighttime show Fantasmic! is a story where Mickey is transported into a dream. He dances along with music, lighting effects, and pyrotechnics. Various characters and scenes from popular Disney movies are part of the sequence as well.
Fantasmic! first opened in Disneyland in 1992 when Disney Imagineers were offered the challenge to create a show featuring both water and fireworks. MGM Studios, now Disney’s Hollywood Studios, debuted Fantasmic in 1998. Last year, the show received a few much-needed changes.
Additional Showings Added

You can find that on the My Disney Experience App and the Fantasmic! webpage that additional show times have been added. Fantasmic! has been running once nightly at 8:30 PM, but now a second show has been added.
Two showings of Fantasmic! will happen March 20 through March 22nd. The showtimes will be at 8:30 PM and 9:30 PM.
Beginning yesterday, March 19th, an additional showing at 9:30 PM began. This second showtime will occur now through the 22nd. Beginning on March 23rd, the times will shift to 8:30 PM and 10 PM. Fantasmic! will resume one nightly showing on March 30th at 8:30 PM.
What Does This Mean for You?

If you are traveling to Disney World soon, it is important to know that Spring Break crowds have arrived at Disney World! The parks are going to be busy. Earlier this week, we shared how crowded it got when Non-Resort Guests were turned away from Blizzard Beach.
Disney tends to add additional showtimes of Fantasmic! and extend park hours (ex. Magic Kingdom) when higher crowd levels are expected.
It is even more important to have a good touring strategy when the parks are this crowded. Be sure to have a good plan by using Character Locator!
