Tropical Storm is expected to become Hurricane Helene, and your Central Florida vacation may experience some temporary closures as a result.
Hurricane
We have been keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Helene, which is now expected to be Hurricane Helene as early as today, September 25.
The National Weather Service says that conditions in the Central Florida area are expected to get worse Wednesday night into Thursday morning. 50-60mph gusts are possible on Thursday as the storm passes.
For travelers headed to Disney World during this time of year, it is important to be prepared and stay aware of weather conditions. This includes packing extra items like battery chargers, medications, and baby supplies. It may also be wise to turn on all weather alerts and keep a close eye on severe weather patterns right before and during your vacation.
