My Disney Experience
It is hard to visit Walt Disney World without using Disney’s app. After all, it has everything you need to enjoy a magical vacation! You can make dining reservations, place mobile orders, skip the merchandise line with mobile checkout, and even book your next attraction Lightning Lane time.
Like all apps, it receives regular updates to improve the overall guest experience. Today guests logging into the My Disney Experience app received a push notification.
Guests are encouraged to click “Upgrade Now” to receive the newest update for the My Disney Experience app. At times this upgrade may seem unnecessary, but this new update is pretty important.
Why a new upgrade?
As we shared earlier, Walt Disney World will roll out a new version of Disney Genie+ starting next week on July 24, 2024. It is called Lightning Lane Multi-Pass. In addition, what was previously called Individual Lightning Lane Selections is now called Lightning Lane Single Pass.
Onsite Guests will be able to purchase and make selections 7 days ahead of their arrival date.
Offsite Guests will be able to do so 3 days ahead. Selections can be made for the entire trip up to 14 days, and you can purchase them at 7:00 am Eastern Time.

This new My Disney Experience upgrade will help guests take advantage of all of the Lightning Lane features in the My Disney Experience app when it goes live on July 24th.
